Passed away peacefully on 16th January 2026 in Bassetlaw Hospital aged 85 years.
Beloved husband of Siew, loving dad to Richard and John, much loved grandad to William, Oliver, Abigail and Jessica, brother to Ruth, uncle to Helen and Alison and a dear friend to all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will take place at Barnby Moor Crematorium on Monday 9th February 2026 at 11.00am.

Today is the day that marks 5 years from when Hancock Funeral Director’s began.
To every family who has put their trust in us to take care of their loved ones at their time of need. To my amazing team who go above and beyond every time, especially my son Sam, my wife Tara who has been there from day one. I couldn’t do it without you all. Their compassion and dedication never fails and I really appreciate each and everyone of you. We are here to continue looking after your loved ones like one of our own in Retford and surrounding areas for many years to come.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 28th December 2025 the day after her 83rd birthday. Janice was the daughter of the late Elsie and Charles Randall and lived in Retford all her life. She was sister to Terence, sister in law to Joan and aunt to Gillian and the late Susan. The last years of her life were spent in Glenesk Care Home where she was wonderfully looked after by all the staff.
She will be sadly missed.
Funeral service will take place at
Babworth Crematorium on Friday 30th January 2026 at 11.00am.
