‼️📞☎️ An increasing number of Vodafone and EE users, alongside BT broadband customers, are reporting issues today in an outage that appears to be affecting multiple UK networks.

This has unfortunately affected the phone lines at Crown House Surgery, therefore you may struggle to get through on the phones and for us to reach you.

As a result there may be issues with any phone consultations that are scheduled this afternoon, if the clinician is unable to contact you because of these outages they will send you a link to rebook.

☀️ Stay safe in the sun this weekend ☀️

While lots of us look forward to the warmer weather it can cause serious problems like heat exhaustion and heatstroke for older and vulnerable people.

To stay safe during the hot weather keep out of the sun 11am to 3pm, drink plenty of water, wear light cool clothes with a hat and sunglasses and don’t forget sunscreen.

Plan exercise or dog walks early in the morning or late in the evening and keep curtains closed in sun-facing rooms.

If you have friends, family or neighbours who are more vulnerable make sure they are aware of the weather forecast and are staying safe, and don’t forget pets feel the heat too.
