Mediumship asks you to become clear enough to hear what is not yours.
Ego often wants to be seen, praised, right, special, or in control. Spirit usually feels quieter than that.

Ego in mediumship can look like:
forcing a message instead of allowing it
wanting to impress the sitter
being afraid to say “I’m not getting that clearly”
making everything about being gifted rather than being of service
confusing personal emotion with spirit communication

Healthy ego is different. You do need some ego to hold boundaries, trust your link, and deliver what you receive. The problem is not having an ego. The problem is when ego leads the reading instead of supporting it.

A good medium learns to ask: “Is this coming from spirit, or from my need to be right?” “Am I serving, or performing?” “Am I listening, or filling the silence?”

True mediumship is humble. It does not need to be grand to be real. Often the purest evidence comes when the medium steps aside, softens, and lets spirit speak in its own way.

Not every connection in your life is random.
Some are chosen… long before this lifetime began.
There are souls you meet
who challenge you, trigger you, even hurt you…
and it’s easy to wonder why them?

Something that many mediums quietly experience is often called “spirit amnesia” or “trance recall gaps.”

🌸 What is Spirit Amnesia?
Spirit amnesia is when a medium gives a message clearly during a reading, but afterwards can barely remember what they said — or sometimes remembers nothing at all.

The sitter might say:
"You told me about my dad's watch and the garden bench…"
And the medium genuinely replies:
"Did I?"
Yet during the reading the message flowed perfectly.

Why it Happens...

1. The medium becomes a channel, not the thinker
During strong links with spirit, the medium’s conscious mind often steps slightly aside. The information moves through intuition, images, feelings, and impressions rather than normal thinking.
Because the analytical mind isn’t doing the work, the brain doesn’t store the message in the usual way.

2. The information moves through quickly
