As this year comes to a close I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the incredible, inspiring people that have allowed me to accompany them on the journey towards their goals this year.

You have no idea how many times your successes have led to little happy dances when you've gone.

I hope that the festive period is kind to you and you get the peace that you need. If this period is a difficult one, remember to use your skills, take a breath, use positive activity, go for a walk, uphold your boundaries and ground yourself. If you find yourself leaning on old, unhelpful, habits then be kind to yourself and notice it but choose to do something different rather than telling yourself off.

Thank you all for allowing me to raise my family and do the job that I love 💜

Time to explore generalised anxiety, defined simply by the NHS as "feelings of stress or worry that affect your family life and are difficult to control".

We all go through stressful periods in our lives, like exams, new jobs and moving house, but if the stress doesn't match the situation or your find that the stress doesn't go away when your situation calms down, it may be time to seek help.

CBT is the recommended treatment for generalised anxiety, learning to challenge worry and leave it behind is a powerful tool. It doesn't matter how long worry has been present, we can all learn techniques to manage it.
