When everything feels a bit “too much”…

Bowen Therapy offers a quiet pause your body will thank you for.

Sometimes the body can’t settle…
not because of where it hurts

The vagus nerve runs through the neck,
linking into the heart, lungs and digestive system.

But look at what sits around it:

👉 forward head posture
👉 tight SCM and scalenes
👉 jaw and under-jaw tension
👉 shallow breathing

When these areas are under constant load…

the nervous system can struggle to shift out of
a more protective state.

This is often when we begin to see:

👉 neck and jaw tension
👉 changes in the voice
👉 disrupted sleep
👉 digestive changes
👉 a sense of “not quite switching off”

Not always a local problem…

👉 but a pattern through the front of the body.

Not deep pressure.

Not constant movement.

Small, precise moves…
followed by pauses.

Some people feel subtle shifts.

Others just notice how they feel afterwards.

It’s a different experience to most hands-on therapies — and that’s the point.
