When the world is going crazy and feelings of panic get in the way of every day activities, you need to know how to deal and manage stress and anxiety!
PAUSE - BREATHE - RELAX
My top tip today to reduce stress, panic and anxiety: stop for a moment and pause to reflect on how you feel. Take a few deep breaths to calm your body and mind and try to consciously relax your muscles, face and body.
Regarding the breath, try to add a rhythm, like counting:
breathe in and count to 4 and out to 4, then breathe in and count to 5 and out to five, in to 6 and out to 6, then repeat the process.
Please only do this in an appropriate environment and not while driving and when you need to stay alert.
I hope this helps you calm down a bit when things get too much.
