In this 90 minute session you will release deeply held tension through a series of Yin yoga positions- all designed to help you slow down, soften and restore 🥰

Then a symphony of spectacular gongs, singing bowls and other healing instruments will work magic on your nervous system to calm and balance the body and mind.

The 90-minute session will begin with a gentle Yin yoga practice, using long-held, floor-based postures to release deeply held tension in the fascia and connective tissues. Suitable for all.
As you ease into deep relaxation, you’ll be immersed in a therapeutic sound bath—a symphony of spectacular gongs, singing bowls and other healing instruments. The vibrations help calm the nervous system, quiet the mental chatter, and bring the body into a meditative, parasympathetic state.
This session is ideal for anyone feeling stressed, fatigued, emotionally drained, or simply in need of deep, nurturing rest.

I have experienced some incredible sound baths ( Bali was my favourite 🥰) and I find sound healing to be incredibly profound.
But it is powerful, unique and rooted in tradition. I was only ever going to recommend it if I found someone trained professionally who has a deep knowledge of the therapy of sound. I found her. ❤️ And I am thrilled to offer this special collaboration……..

➡️ YOUR TEACHERS

Francesca is a yoga teacher, yoga therapist, gong practitioner and sound therapist. Sound healing works by vibrating energy forms, including the human body which is made up of 70% water, a great conductor for sound. Each part of the body has its own resonant frequency, and when bathed in sound, it brings harmony and healing.

Francesca has trained with some of the best and most experienced in sound healing and has immersed herself in yoga philosophy to create a powerful and deeply moving experience.

Deb has been teaching yoga in Battle for nearly 20 years and has completed many advanced teacher trainings including core strength vinyasa flow, yin yoga, biomechanics and is also a mindfulness teacher. She has a master's degree in Positive Psychology, the science of happiness, and infuses her classes with tools for wellbeing and health.

The layers in this beautiful plant fascinated me so much I had to buy one! Each layer a delicate sheath being part of the whole.. 🌷 Just like our bodies - in yoga we refer to them as koshas, in biology, it’s skin, fascia, muscle, etc. 🚶🏼‍♀️‍➡️

If we want to age physically with strength and grace we must nurture each layer! Bones need strengthening, fascia needs movement and friction, our joints and connective tissue needs mobility and hydration…… 💦

Last week I gave a talk to a wonderful group of women in Bexhill on the topic of thriving in our third age. 🤸🏼‍♂️🏌🏾‍♂️🏊‍♀️

We spoke about adding in different types of movement to our day - try sitting on the floor instead of a chair. Get down on all fours and try some hip circles. Or balance on one leg whilst brushing your teeth! Of the 80 women in the room, only a few had good range of movement in their shoulders.

We also spoke about mental health if we want to age psychologically and spiritually with strength and grace, we must take time to breath, to notice, to be present…..💝 This inspiring group of women left with some positive psychology tools to elevate their emotional wellbeing.

Which element of your overall wellbeing do you neglect the most? Physical, emotional, spiritual?
Small habits add up to big changes so right now, try a few deep, long inhales and some neck rolls. It doesn’t take much. 🥰

Summer is nearly upon us here in the northern hemisphere and it’s nearly time for strawberries and Wimbledon tennis 🎾 🌺 Our theme in yoga this term is INSPIRE - what do we personally feel inspired by …. what or who….? We can set all the goals or targets we life BUT if we’re not INSPIRED to achieve them, we’ll struggle. ☺️ I’m always inspired by people’s resilience and strength - it’s incredible what the human body can do 💪 What, or WHO, inspires you? 🤩🤩 What’s your June intention? Our summer term of yoga starts this week!!! 🧡 There are only a couple of places available so if you are keen to add a layer of mobility, strength, mindfulness and self-awareness to your life, go now!!!! ⬇️⬇️

Yoga on Wednesdays is so much more than 'just yoga' (although yoga is everything we do!). My aim is to focus your awareness on HOW your body moves and feels and HOW you can stay HEALTHY, MOBILE, ENERGETIC AND PAIN-FREE as we move through the decades.

This term our focus is longevity and life-hacks to feel GOOD!

🌿✨ New Yoga Term – Improve Your Mobility, Calm Your Mind ✨🌿
There are a couple of places left for our yoga term starting next week (Wednesday, 12th March).

For our Spring term we are embarking on a 10-week yoga program around the theme of "rejuvenate", with each week focusing on a different aspect of rejuvenation for the body and mind. 🧚🏻‍♂️🧚🏻‍♂️

Our term will be totally dedicated to discovering ways to rejuvenate/refresh/reconnect with our body and mind through our yoga practice. From rejuvenating through breath or flexibility to creating positive change through movement and mobility, each week we focus on an element to IMPROVE your physical and mental health.

The idea is to create a holistic journey for you all that will rejuvenate you physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically – ready for a vibrant summer. 🦋🐝🦚

Whether you are new to yoga or experienced, you will be welcomed and made to feel completely at ease, thanks to the amazing group of people who have created this yoga community over the past 15 years. We love ALL bodies – creaky, broken, agile, strong, young or old, the classes are layered with options for all.

I’m looking forward to taking you on this journey! 🧘🏻‍♂️🤸🏻‍♂️

Our winter yoga term starts this Wednesday at the Battle Memorial Hall and there are only a few places in each class (5.15pm or 6.20pm).

If you want to increase your mobility and strength, reduce stiffness and back pain and create a little more balance in your 2025, I'd love to welcome you to join our sessions.

Both groups are diverse, ages 20s to 70s, and are full of the loveliest people you could hope to meet; friendly, welcoming and kind. (Some have been coming to my yoga for over 15 years!)
