I discovered yoga 12 years ago, in a pre-natal class, and loved the bringing together of body and mind, leaving class feeling so much better than when I went in! Now I'm offering my own classes to provide a space for people to have time to nurture and learn about their whole self and find enjoyment in moving their bodies. My classes will include relaxation, restorative poses, slow flow sequences and breathwork. I have scoliosis, with a fused spine, and want to make my classes accessible for anyone to take part, with a special interest in others living with scoliosis. Hello all! 😊 just a reminder about yoga next Sunday 12th 10-12. I feel like a winter tree atm, a bit bare, tired, in need of rest!! And it reminded me that however you're feeling as we enter the new year, YOU ARE WELCOME in the space we create together- whether you're full of excitement for the year ahead, sad, tired, joyous- you are welcome. In the words of Nirvana πŸ˜… 'Come as you are'. I think that will be our theme.

I'm yet to plan our movement but we will take our time with some breathwork, practice vipassana (noticing sensations, activity etc in the body and mind without judgement) and will share in parsnip soup and homemade bread both made by some of our lovely group.❀

This session is focused around allowing ALL feelings and learning how to tend to our own suffering. Grief- particularly in mind with Rememberance day and Samhain. There'll be an opportunity to remember loved ones or whatever is resonating with you at this time. We'll finish by sharing carrot and lentil soup together and before that we will move our bodies mindfully, joyfully and find stillness in meditation. Too many wonderful things to write but if that sounds appealing there are still spaces left so get in touch 😘
