Had a lovely long run today whilst listening to the 'The Anxious generation' book. And I thought how nice it would be not to be addicted to Instagram!

💫 And so I'm taking an Instagram detox, for at least a month, ideally for the whole summer ☀️

📌 In an unlikely event of anyone needing to get in touch with me meanwhile - email me, call me, or send a pigeon 😆

Hyrox in Cardiff done ✔️
First solo race 💪🏻
Struggled with all the 'easy' stations (well, those that are usually easy for me) 🙈
And dealt really well with the stations that are usually challenging 🤷‍♀️
Really want to complete the race again, if I can only get the tickets! 😄

Sport psychology reflection: mental prep was on point, accepted all negative thoughts and embraced the moment!

Can't wait to train again with , just need to wait for the DOMS to magically disappear 😆

This is a crazy face of a person who's been having meetings and calls all day in English, Czech and Ukrainian 🤯

asked me today if I ever forget words when I speak to people❓️

❗️The answer is EVERY TIME 😆 It's like there is a box with that word in my mind, I know where to find it, but somehow it's EMPTY🤷‍♀️

🙈 Honestly, sometimes I stop midsentence, and it takes me a few seconds to remember what I'm trying to say and which language I should use for it

🧠 So, if I ever teach, or present, or just chat to you and I go silent - laugh with me because my brain, most probably, is in a panic mode 😁

💥 This morning I had a great (albeit brief!) opportunity to discuss at people's motivation to do endurance events

😉 And I obviously had to casually mention that I did London marathon last year (one marathon = bragging rights forever!)

Being back to life after 3 days of migraine (meaning not being able to stand up or eat any food) brings back all the lovely things that you may take for granted:
💪🏻 6am exercise class
🐶 walking the dog at 7am when it rains
🍳☕️ having a favourite breakfast with coffee that never tasted so good
📚 even 8.30am meeting was a joy!

I promise to value all of these things again, no need for more migraine please 🙏 😉

⚠️ Sport psychology in practice: is it about teaching mental skills or providing more substantial long-term therapeutic support? Do we even have to pick one side, or can we just move around the continuum?

🔺️ Your answer can depend on many factors, including your education, competencies, philosophical approach, organisational environment, clients' requests and so on...

📚 I'm reading this book now, which is an interesting example of perhaps a middle ground between two sides, and I wanted to recommend it here

❓️ And how do you see your role as a sport psychologist?
Does the nature of your work make you focus more on mental skills training or long-term therapeutic relationships?

What an amazing experience! Doing Hyrox in London with 🥳

It was a humbling experience as it was much harder than I expected. Everything hurts today, but it was worth it - so much fun! 💥

Well done to for being such a superhero and racing with her calf pulled ❤️

A massive thanks to and for training support, you guys are the best 💪🏻🔥
