Dementia action alliance support group for all those effected by dementia pop along and have a chat

📣 Come along to the Eastbourne Dementia Peer Support Group which will be held Friday 7th June 2024

⏰ 2pm - 3:30pm at Cranbrook, Pembury Rd, Eastbourne

Anyone is welcome, whether they have already been diagnosed with Dementia or not.

It’s a wonderful peer group who help each other in a warm and friendly environment. Meet those on the same journey as you, come and join them, discuss your challenges and joys.

Carers are welcome too 😌

Happy June everyone

This month we are focusing on helping our families understand some of the changes their loved ones may experience, since having a diagnosis, or indeed while they are awaiting a diagnosis.
As a result we have arranged 2 information sessions.
The first of the sessions will be held on June 11th and the second on June 20th

All family members are welcome to join us, coffee and cake will of course be provided.

Please let us know if you are available to attend.

Today we held our first residents/relatives meeting of 2024 which was a resounding success lots of ideas and suggestions passed around.

It was lovely to see so many of you there.

Happy Easter weekend
We’ve had lots of fun this weekend with personalised Easter bags, and home made chocolate bunnies and eggs, a lovely sunny day in the garden for afternoon tea, to our Easter bonnet parade, and finishing off with a movie and smoothie night.

Works are well underway on our middle corridor & other homely touches to the home.

We can’t wait to see the finished middle floor and continue making the home look and feel relaxed comfortable and homely.

New flooring will be continued throughout the home & our residents are enjoying being able to pick and have a colour of there choice to their rooms! ❤️

It’s with great pleasure we can announce that the decoration on ground floor is now completed.

With a lot of hard work and dedication we have transformed what was once a boring corridor with brown carpet, to something homely but modern.

We’ve had lots of compliments on how lovely it looks already.

Decoration of middle floor has commenced already, look out for the update.
