Hi, I’m Dee, founder of Fish 2 Water – where wetsuits meet wild swims and no one escapes without at least one coffee-fueled debrief.
It’s been a while so I thought I would reintroduce myself & F2W 🐠🌊
I launched F2W in 2020, right in the thick of the pandemic—because if there was ever a time to launch a new business involving people huddled together in salty water... that was it, right?
Before that, I was happily juggling watery jobs: teaching kids to swim, travelling the UK and globe snapping underwater photos with my company The Underwater Studio, coaching beach lifeguarding like a slightly more British version of Baywatch and running mermaid swimming experiences with my sister company MerKids. Yes, actual mermaids. Tails, sparkles, the whole finned fantasy 🧜🏻♀️
F2W originally focused on junior sea swimming and water safety, but then adults started asking to join in—because apparently, swimming isn’t just for the under-12s—and I took the plunge. I haven’t looked back since (except occasionally to check if anyone’s still in their tow float).
Fast forward to now, and the open water swim club is growing faster than a toddler in a swim cap. We train seriously... but not too seriously. There are BBQs, coffee catch-ups, and this year we hosted our first-ever fully booked Swim Trek to Turkey 🇹🇷
There’s plenty more in the pipeline, and I couldn’t be prouder of the community we’ve built. Whether you’re here to swim, splash, float, or just find some good people to laugh and eat cake with afterwards—Fish 2 Water is the place to be.
