Outer planet transits can make a big impact on our lives but they are an important part of our life cycle.

Most of us will experience a Uranus, Neptune and Pluto transit which teaches us valuable life lessons and I like to think of it as a sort of upgrade.

If we are expressing the energy of that planet well, we will find it easier to integrate the lessons. However if it's not an energy we are familiar with it can be a little uncomfortable to deal with.

During Saturn–Neptune aspects in the sky, there is often disillusionment (a great word for this combination) with people and authorities (Saturn) we have elevated – whether its spiritual gurus like Deepak Chopra or members of a once-respected institution. We may realise that some people we looked up to are just human and fallible after all. Our faith may crumble, reality bites and crutches dissolve. As my colleague and friend Sue Dibnah says: With Neptune, the veil eventually lifts and we start to see more clearly.
