Growing up in The West Midlands, I knew but never understood the 'pull' of the sea. Having fallen in it when young and been frightened, and never having mastered how to swim, I neither wanted to be in it or on it. But, oh, how I love being by it. Moving to Eastbourne, being beside the sea, has been the most wonderful experience of my life. Yes I miss family, deep ties still in the Midlands, but by the sea, by the sea, my head says due to ties previously mentioned, my mind feels fragmented...but my heart, by the sea, feels whole LOVE Eastbourne

The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
