Helen has absolutely smashed it since joining!

From not doing much at all…

To training consistently 3x per week!

She’s now getting so much stronger, loads more confidence and loving lifting weights.

It’s amazing to see her progress, well done!!

3 ways to improve your balance:

1️⃣ Static balance 🚀

Stand on a stable surface for a set amount of time. This is the easiest way to start, stand near a wall to help if you feel uneasy!

2️⃣ Dynamic balance 💥

You can be creative with this one. Still stand on a stable surface but get yourself moving at the same time. Improves your ability control through your core.

3️⃣ Single leg strength 💪🏼

It’s no surprise that strengthening your legs individually will help improve stability. You’ll need to train close to failure to work on those stabilisers!

💪🏼 To increase strength you need to:

1️⃣ Progress the weight over time.

Doing the same workout every time = no change.

2️⃣ Our muscles need to be challenged for them to change.

Work near to failure to cause fatigue!

3️⃣ Correct technique is key.

Lifting heavy needs to be done safely, make sure you learn the fundamentals!

✅ If you’re doing all 3, you’re well on your way to getting stronger and living better 🎉
