Steve had Oncology yesterday and the results of his brain scan were given to him. In his words its not the best news but not the worst! Unfortunately the cancer is in 3 places in the membrane around the brain. The doctors are writing to neurology for best treatment plan, steve could potentially have surgery for this but its very unlikely as the cancer is in 3 places. They may opt for Radiotherapy where they attack each bit individually, this would need to be in London as dont do that here. The final option is again Radiotherapy based but this version is where they do the whole brain over 5 days which steve feels will probably be the option for him. All other treatment he is currently having will be postponed while they sort his brain out, but in his words again, at least they trying to treat it! This is not something that can be cured but they will try and keep it small. Steve and lindsay have been told that steve could have around a year but this all depends on how he responds to the treatment.
This is obviously alot of information to process, steve, lindsay and the family are going to need lots of love and support as they navigate this next chapter. Let's all show them, love, support and respect and make this next year one to remember ❤️ Steve as always we send love and hugs, just keep doing what you are doing, keep strong and when you can't we will be strong for you. Today Steve started chemo again, he is doing ok, this chemo means he has to take some home and continue it for extra days, they are giving him a big dose so will keep you all posted with his progress, he has some scans coming up and is in some pain which he is managing with painkillers. Let's all get behind him with the positivity and love ❤️

**Update **
so this week Steve and Lindsay had the recent scan results and it wasnt the news they were hoping for, doctors will be starting steve on a different type of chemo again soon as his lymphnodes and primary cancer have unfortunately grown again. Steve has to have scan on his head as he keeps getting headaches and a cystoscopy to check his bladder as there was an inconsistency. So, lets hope this round of treatment goes well and quickly for him, please keep him in your thoughts, lets all stay positive, and send lots of love and strength xx

Update!

Steve has now finished his Chemo, he took every session in his stride (legend) a few side effects but nothing he couldn't deal with, we all now know that the first lot of scans show positive results, he has just had his next lot of scans so in a few weeks we will find out the last 3 sessions of Chemo have gone. Please all keep sending positivity steve, lindsay and the families way. I'll update in due course xx
