šŸ’“ šŸ’Ž It happens to be Valentine’s Day. I invite you to consider that we and our relationships are diamonds multifaceted aspects of love of which ramantic love is a peice, like Bell hooks book ā€˜All About Love’. If we can recognise this we can recognise that our days like diamonds may be a mixture of the good and bad and maybe we can manage this duality even on our most difficult days. Maybe we can consider that even though there are things we don’t like about ourselves, like the light, grey and dark facets of a daimond are many different small and big things to love. That in our relationship with ourselves we set the tone for our relationship with the world others. So however, your Valentine’s Day is going I encourage you to treat yourself as well as whatever you do for others. If you can’t be kind to yourself, be neutral; and you feel lost ask yourself the question ā€˜ how do I want to exist today, what face of the šŸ’Ž is most appealing and manageable like simply taking a walk or a tea break, kind or neutral comforting words to self ā€˜your ok’?’, and say to yourself ā€˜I’m doing my best’. Perhaps these can be the seedlings of self love. Enjoy your day.🌱 🄰

What can I say? Simply Happy New Year and maybe consider every day as a chance to start again. 🄳 Perhaps even every second of the day is a chance to make a different or new choice. šŸŽ‰ ā˜®ļø

It’s not always easy this time of year. šŸŽ„Encouraging you to plan things which help you feel good, or just ok enough,simple things if this is a hard time of year for you, try to stick to the routines which make you feel good even if you feel terrible. 🌲If it’s too difficult to be nice to yourself say something neutral to yourself in your mind. Consider asking yourself ā€˜what’s the kindest thing I can do for myself right now even thought I feel vulnerable? 🌲Samaritans 116 123 (or your local helpline) if you need to, you don’t have to be suicidal just feeling in that place of needing to talk or spiralling. šŸŽ„Kind thoughts.šŸŽ„
