After the excitement of airbourne last weekend we decided to do some more relaxing activities. We had a shuffle of the lounge and everyone sat together to make some brownies and do some puzzles!

Baking can be surprisingly beneficial for older people—not just as a fun activity, but also for mental, emotional, and even physical health.
Along with puzzles being great for cognitive health and sensory stimulation. 🧈🥣🧩

Airbourne Day 1 and our residents had a blast! We managed to watch some of their favourite planes and we all had great fun! We will be back out again tomorrow with something new…

This week our residents have been doing lots of fabulous artwork for us to display around the home. Today we’ve focused on painting and the residents have had a blast! 💥

The residents thoroughly enjoyed some gardening this morning with Molly and Debbie.

We are very happy to announce we were able to fund a converser for William. We are over the moon and this is going to be life changing for him. 💖

We would like to say a massive thank you to East Sussex Hearing for lending us equipment for the day to try with one of our wonderful residents William.

William is hard of hearing and doesn’t like wearing hearing aids. We would usually communicate with letters or have to shout so he could hear. With the help of this awesome microphone and speaker system the staff were able to communicate with him fully and he was very excited!

This equipment is honestly life changing and we are so glad we had the opportunity to use it. Thank you so much East Sussex Hearing for all they do from hearing aid maintenance to ear wax removal!
