We are delighted to hear we have been allocated £537,000 as part of the government grant for hospices. This is an extra grant that we can use to improve our building and equipment.

We are grateful to the government for this help, in what is a very challenging time for the hospice sector. It will help us maintain the best environment for our patients, families and visitors.

Unfortunately the grant cannot be used for salaries. As with all hospices, our greatest cost is in salaries, ensuring our skilled workforce can meet the needs of patients and their families. We are still doing all we can to manage the shortfall in our budget to protect our care for the future.

We are extremely grateful to everyone in our community who has stepped up to support us at this difficult time. Without your help, we simply could not continue to provide our care and support. Thank you.
