Symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia can include:
A rash that does not fade when pressed with a glass
Sudden onset of high fever
Severe and worsening headache
Stiff neck
Vomiting and diarrhoea
Joint and muscle pain
Dislike of bright lights
Very cold hands and feet
Seizures
Confusion or delirium
Extreme sleepiness or difficulty waking
If you or someone you know develops symptoms of meningitis or septicaemia, seek medical help urgently by going to the nearest Accident and Emergency department or calling 999.

It's been a very busy month at Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership. We have added new locations to our ultrasound service in Newhaven and Rye. These are in addition to clinics in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford and St Leonards.

Thank you to the team who have all worked so incredibly hard to ensure minimal patient disruption, following the collapse of a local ultrasound provider.

It's been a record breaking week here at Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership. Over 170 patients received a DXA scan during the past six days across our Eastbourne and St Leonards sites. We would like to thank our exceptional staff who go above and beyond to ensure patients receive timely access to our service 🙂
