On Sunday, two of our very own Eastbourne Round Tabler's competed in the Eastbourne Sprint Triathlon.

A big congratulations to Oli & George who swam, biked, and ran their way to the finish line with Oli making it onto the podium for his age category and George smashing his target time but over 14 minutes!

We had plenty of other members out on the course shouting words of encouragement and to see them in at the finish line.

A fantastic effort by our boys and for such a good cause too. It's not too late to donate to help raise funds for the vital services Space Eastbourne does.

We met and played bowls this evening at Eastbourne Gildredge Park Bowls Club. A big thank you to the club for hosting us, a really great evening all round.

For the past few months 2 of our members, George Message and Oli Rosson-Jones, have been training hard in preparation for the Eastbourne Triathlon. They are competing in aid of a local Charity who we at Round Table have supported in the past.

Oli and George have been braving the choppy English Channel and defying gravity by riding up Beachy Head.

If you'd like to support them, you can see them over the line between 11am and Midday on Sunday 8th June at The Wish Tower or donating a few pounds if you are able.
