New Moon Yoga Nidra | Saturday 18th January

The first New Moon of 2026 rises in Capricorn on January 18th - a powerful moment to pause, plant seeds, and set intentions for the year ahead.

New Moons invite us to begin again. Capricorn asks us to get grounded, resourceful, and wise. Together, they offer something rare: a chance to commit to what truly matters to us from a place of deep rest, not depletion.

Sunday evening (6pm at the Beach Studio), we'll rest deeply under this New Moon and allow clarity to emerge. What wants to grow this year? What needs to be anchored? What are you ready to commit to from your most restored self?

This is a standalone session - no experience needed, just come as you are.

From January 18th, I’m offering a 3-Week Yoga Nidra Introduction for those who are new to the practice. This small, intentional container runs over three consecutive weekly sessions, supporting a gentle arrival into deep rest through consistency—giving your nervous system the chance to recognise the space, feel safe, and rest more deeply over time.

Yoga Nidra is often described as an effortless form of meditation, practised lying down, and is particularly supportive for those feeling overstimulated, tired, anxious, or burnt out.

If you’re longing for rest that goes beyond relaxation—and into real restoration—you would be very welcome.

Hello I’m Emily

I recently located to Eastbourne after living abroad for decades.  Finally settling down in this gorgeous part of the world has called me to ground in and find what I love most and there has been a resounding answer to that inquiry and work: PEACE, REST and REGENERATION!

I recently became a certified Yoga Nidra facilitator to add to my background  and long career in holding and guiding groups across creative, coaching, and mentoring spaces. I came to Yoga Nidra during a period of unrecognised burnout and experienced its impact firsthand — particularly in supporting deep rest, improved sleep, clarity, and nervous-system regulation.

I offer classes at the Beach studio on Sunday evenings 6-7 and alternate Fridays beginning in February.

My teaching offers a steady, welcoming space that invites gentleness toward self and others, while supporting focus, creativity, and emotional resilience. I continue to deepen my studies of Yoga Nidra in 2026 with a 100YTT with Ally Boothroyd and the team, remaining passionate about making profound rest and restoration accessible in everyday life and facilitating the return to Self over time within the practice of Yoga Nidra.

I am also a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner, and am looking forward to offering immersions in nature as we get closer to Spring time.
