Hence why I always keep my Pranayama teachings & practice simple ππ»β€οΈ
β οΈ Why you shouldn't rush into deep breathwork.
Pranayama is more than just "breathing exercises." It is a powerful tool for healing, but as B.K.S. Iyengar taught, it requires a strong vessel.
If your body lacks structural integrity or your nervous system is weak, forcing the breath can lead to restlessness and imbalance rather than peace.
The Rule: Build the structure first.
When the body is free from ailment and the spine is strong, the breath can finally do its job: balancing your "fight or flight" response and clearing the path for your inner light to shine. β¨
