🔥 I'm walking on hot embers for St Wilfrid's Hospice! 🔥
On Saturday 28th of March, I'm walking barefoot along three metres of red hot embers, to help raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice who desperately need your support as they face further cuts in funding. I am very excited to be adding a brand new class to the weekly timetable. Barre Pilates is BACK! The new Barre Pilates class will be on Monday mornings at 9.30am-10.25am at Eden Blue Centre, starting 27th October. Barre Pilates combines both standing and mat based Pilates exercises with ballet inspired barre work. The class is brilliant for building strength and improving aligment, flexibility and balance.

Hi ! I am very excited to announce that Barre Pilates is BACK!

What is Barre Pilates?
Barre Pilates blends ballet barre techniques, Pilates and strength training to create a low-impact, full-body exercise. The class uses a barre for support and focuses on small, controlled movements with high repetitions to strengthen and tone muscles, particularly in the core, glutes, legs, and arms. The class also incorporates the use of small hand weights, resistance bands and matwork for a full body workout. The class is accompanied by music to keep you energised and uplifted and is great FUN!

✨Hello lovely people – time for a little reintroduction!✨

I’m Céline – a 55-year-old (yikes!) Pilates teacher with over 10 years of professional teaching experience here in beautiful Eastbourne. Alongside being a Pilates teacher, I’m also an independent celebrant and the choir manager for The Happy Place Choir 🎶 – so you could say I spend most of my time helping people move, celebrate, and feel good!

Pilates has been a constant passion of mine for more than a decade. I love teaching because it’s not just about exercise – it’s about connection, confidence and investing in our own self-care. I’ve seen first-hand how Pilates helps people improve strength, posture, and flexibility, but also how it supports mental wellbeing, reduces stress, and creates a real sense of focus and balance in everyday life.

My classes are warm, welcoming, and tailored to all - whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced. I use a range of Pilates and Yoga inspired movements to strengthen your body, and finish each class with a gentle guided relaxation to help you to recover and restore sense of calm and presence.

My goal is always to help people feel comfortable, capable, and a little taller (literally and figuratively!) when they leave class.
