We were thrilled to welcome our special guest Kevin Connery, who filled the home with all the songs that make you want to get up, dance, and sing along! From toe-tapping classics to irresistible favourites, the lounge was buzzing with smiles, clapping, and a whole lot of happy feet! 💃🕺🎶

What a brilliant day at Beechwood Grove! 🌼🧠

This morning our residents kicked things off with a lively game of “Who Am I?” — plenty of laughs, head-scratching moments, and some very clever guesses! We then welcomed Sophie from Beechwood Dental, who gave a fascinating and friendly talk on oral health, packed with tips to keep our smiles shining bright. 😁🦷

In the afternoon, the creativity bloomed as we enjoyed flower arranging, filling the home with colour and gorgeous scents. 🌸🌿 We rounded off the day with a cosy reading session featuring Oscar Wilde and The Candlelight Murders, keeping everyone thoroughly entertained. 📚✨

What a wonderfully varied day we’ve had! ❤️
We started the morning with a peaceful Parchment Church service, followed by some lively ball games that got everyone moving and laughing. In the afternoon, we settled in with a classic—“Stagecoach” starring John Wayne—a favourite for many of our residents! 🎬🤠

To top it all off, the afternoon brought a cheerful beer tasting, full of clinking glasses and happy conversation. 🍺✨



And of course… we’d like to wish a belated Happy 99th Birthday to Robert! 🥳🎉 We hope your special day yesterday was filled with joy, love, and plenty of celebration!

🎶 What a fabulous day on Birch and Cedar! 🎶

Our residents were treated to a special personal performance from the wonderful Mel Hayes this morning — and wow, did she light up the rooms! There were smiles, sing-alongs and a whole lot of toe-tapping fun. 💃🎤

In the afternoon, things got competitive as the cards came out for a lively game of UNO! From wild cards to surprise victories, the laughter didn’t stop. 🃏😄

And of course, a huge congratulations to our amazing Lifestyles Team Leader on celebrating 3 years of service! Thank you for your hard work, energy and dedication. 🌟🎉

We kicked off the morning with Keep Fit with Sian, stretching, smiling and getting those muscles moving — there’s nothing like a bit of energy to start the day right! 💪😄

This afternoon we settled in for a fascinating talk, “Let There Be Light” – Living in a Lighthouse by Arwen Mary Folkes. 🛟🌊

🚤 All Aboard for a Nautical Afternoon at Beechwood Grove! 👑⚓️

Today our residents enjoyed a fascinating talk about the Royal Yachting Association, diving into the world of life at sea! From learning fun facts to hearing stories from the waves, everyone was hooked from the first “ahoy!”

We then settled in to watch incredible videos of super yachts cruising the oceans in style, followed by a nostalgic look at the magnificent Royal Yacht Britannia — a real royal classic! 👀🌟

Lots of smiles, lots of “wows,” and plenty of daydreaming about setting sail! 🛳️💙

🧶✨ Knit & Natter + Dominoes = The Perfect Beechwood Grove Day! ✨🁫

Our residents had a cosy and creative morning at Knit & Natter, sharing stories, laughter and plenty of yarn magic. From colourful scarves to little keepsakes, the needles were clicking and the conversation was flowing! 💬🧵

Then it was time to bring out the competitive spirit with an afternoon game of dominoes! There were big smiles, strategic moves and a few friendly rivalries – all in good fun, of course! 😄🁬

🎉🐻 Children in Need at Beechwood Grove! 🐻🎉

Today our residents had a beary wonderful time celebrating BBC Children in Need! 💛

The morning was filled with creativity as everyone got stuck into making their very own Pudsey Bear art — bright colours, big smiles and plenty of Pudsey spots everywhere! 🎨🟡⚪

And what’s a celebration without something sweet? Our amazing kitchen team surprised us with a special Pudsey Bear cake, beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious. 🍰🐻✨

We also want to say a huge congratulations to Mihela for her amazing 3 years of service! 🎉 Thank you for your hard work, kindness and dedication 💛

Our morning was full of smiles, giggles and cuddles as we welcomed the little ones for Tots Play — the residents absolutely adore seeing their tiny visitors, and the joy in the lounge was simply heartwarming 💕👶

Then in the afternoon, things turned up a notch with the amazing Tom Fitzpatrick! 🎤🎵 His incredible voice had everyone singing along, tapping their feet and even dancing in their seats — what a performance! 🎶👏

🎶 It was another fun-filled day at Beechwood Grove! This morning our residents were up and moving with the wonderful Jewelled Bird Dance — full of smiles, laughter and great tunes! 💃🕺

The afternoon called for something a little more relaxing… a few friendly games of dominoes! 🎲 Lots of concentration, strategy, and plenty of giggles too!

A huge congratulations to Jack for achieving 1 year’s service AND being crowned Employee of the Month 👏 Your dedication to training and enthusiasm never go unnoticed — we’re so proud to have you on the team! 🌟

🐾 It’s been a heartwarming day here at Beechwood Grove! 🐾

We started the morning with a special visit from Harvey the therapy dog — he brought plenty of smiles, cuddles, and wagging tails to brighten everyone’s day! 💕🐶

Afterwards, our creative residents got busy in arts and crafts, making beautiful Christmas jars to gift to our neighbours — spreading kindness and festive cheer one jar at a time. 🎨✨🎄

The afternoon was filled with music and laughter as Singer Charlotte performed in the lounge, getting everyone singing along and tapping their feet. 🎶💃

And to top off this wonderful day, we want to wish our lovely Libbi a massive 102nd Happy Birthday! 🎂🎈
