Hi my name is Tess, I offer beautiful classes for women during the prenatal period. Using Asana ( postures) practices and yogic breathing techniques to guide you through the amazing journey that is pregnancy and birth. Prenatal sessions incorporate self-hypnosis, positive mental programming and deep relaxation, sound baths and soothing comfort techniques for birthing and care of the mother during pregnancy, during childbirth and postnatal. These classes are open to all women of all abilities. Not just any ordinary yoga a class where femaleness is understood as a central influence on our mind, body and emotions. I honor and support this with Fertility Yoga, Active Birth / Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga for Postnatal Recovery, and Postnatal / Mama Baby Yoga services. I offer classes, private tuition, and workshops for women, their partners, and fellow teachers to investigate female experience. During pregnancy, as well as having the legal right to attend medical appointments, you are entitled to paid time off to attend antenatal (and parenting) classes. In order to give the best service I can it's always best to speak to me in advance in order to find out about general health, previous pregnancies, birth experiences, postnatal health, baby’s health, and so on. The Yoga~Life studio provides mats, blocks, straps and blankets for your use during the classes. Dress for comfort. The entrance to the studio in the evenings is at the back of the building (upstairs)
