Lots of bits going on the last couple of days!

🎥 Our gents enjoyed the movie Memphis Belle that was suggested in our last residents meeting

🏃‍♀️ Our ladies had fun in our exercise for all class! (And enjoyed trying on the new equipment as hats! 🤣)

🎨 we’ve painted our own drinks coasters for residents rooms with lots of individuality and fun designing each one!

🚐 We’ve been out and about to Birling Gap to see the sights

🗞️ Our Avery Moments News and Views club has been very popular with lots of chatter and debates!

Today we learnt all about the history and evolution of shoes! 👞 🥿 👠

The Painted Ladies led a fun reminiscing style art class today where we shared stories and memories of our favourite footwear from work shoes to fashion trends over the decades!

We made collages of different shoes and used our imagination to create our dream footwear.

All of our Bantam chicks have now hatched! 🐣

We have 7 adorable chicks 🐥 that will be with us till Wednesday when they will be going to their new home.

Residents loved spending time with them over this weekend and reminiscing about having their own chickens when in younger years and selling eggs too!

Our Spring Ball was a huge hit! 💃🏻 🕺 🪩 with our residents and friends from Memory Lane Eastbourne enjoying a wonderful evening of ballroom dance yesterday 🥰

Our chef prepared a lovely buffet which was enjoyed by all whilst we watched professional dancers and of course, had a go ourselves!

It was a magical evening!

Oh what a fabulous time we have had today at our VE Day party! 🇬🇧

The moustachioed maestro Tom Carradines Cockney Sing-A-Long came to visit for a good old fashioned knees up and we had a delicious 1940s theme street party to finish 😍

We have also been reminiscing with residents about their war time memories and heard some incredible stories ❤️

Thank you to all of our wonderful team who helped decorate, cooked and baked, and made the day really special for our residents 🥰
