All honey granulates over time, it has not 'gone off.'
These two jars are from exactly the same batch. The left hand jar has been gently warmed to return it to a liquid without damaging the honey.
Crystallisation or granulation is caused by a higher glucose content in the nectar the bees collected.

We know many of you also love your honey to be granulated and we do often try to keep some aside that are ‘setting’ for you all.

Last Saturday our Trustee Manager, Tony Downs presented young Rory with his BRONZE Wheels of Time Award.

Youngsters aged between 5-11 can collect their Wheels of Time badges from many museums in Kent, including the Eastchurch Aviation Museum.

Our Halloween Candle Rolling day!!🕯️

Turn up anytime between 10:30am and 2pm, Come and learn all about the bees, our jobs as beekeepers and how we get our honey from hive to jar!
Candle Rolling is £2.50 per rolled candle, and is for people of ALL ages🐝

The Blitz Cafe will be open for your food and drinks, The aviation museum will be open to teach you all about the islands history and the emporium with all beautiful made wood works too!

*Please note- We do not have a card reader in our shop so CASH is preferred. PayPal and bank transfer is also available*
