Registered Occupational Therapy Charity based in Easterhouse, Glasgow. Offering standardised assessment, sensory profiles, sensory integration therapy and social groups for young people aged 0-24. Please note, we are fully booked for 1:1 therapy and can only offer the following:

Full Assessment with Report
Social Groups
45 Minute Zoom Consultation
Online Zoom Groups

Assessments can be performed as standardised or observational to suit the needs of the client. A full report will be written with the results of the assessment, as well as bespoke therapeutic strategies that can be used at both home and school. Assessment methods types are as follows:
Standardised
Clinical observations (semi standardised)
Observations in play
This includes discussion with parents and carers. Online sensory profiles assess how the young person is processing their environment. Once difficulties are highlighted, our Occupational Therapist creates a bespoke therapy programme for both home and school/nursery to alleviate symptoms the young person may be experiencing. Identifying the WHY to a young person’s behaviour can be incredibly valuable in understanding their needs and therefore adjustments to support them can be put in place. We currently have space in our Monday Pre-school Social groups.

🌟Chattersense - Primary school-aged Social groups🌟

We are delighted to let you all know that, thanks to our amazing supporters, we can introduce an 8-week fully funded block of social groups for all primary school-aged children (free of charge)

P1-3 will be running 4:00- 4:45 on a Thursday
P4-7 will be running from 4:45 - 5:30 on a Thursday

Our numbers will be capped, and as always, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

The start date will likely be 02.10.2025

A massive thanks to my mum (Chattersense GG) for all her knitting and hard work at the craft fair despite having sore ribs. She made us enough money to purchase 2 games that will be fully available to all our kids including our wheelchair users. As our kids settle back into the routine of school - its maybe time to start thinking about some basic life skills - we all need to start somewhere and this is a simple process to help you figuer out where to start - a technique called "Backward Chaining", you might find that you already do this without even being aware - your onto a winner! Good Morning - Happy Friday!

I hope those of you who had kids back at school this week coped.

Remember when you come in be adventurous - change the layout, ask for different swings or anything else you may have seen us use - or even if you have ideas for what might be useful for us.
