From Monday 25th September 2023, Allport Surgery and Sunlight Group Practice will be joining together to manage the care of our patients, both sites will remain open providing a wide range of appointments and services.

This is an exciting time for both practices and over the next few months there will be changes made to ensure our patients have the best possible access to primary care, we hope that this will not impact the level of service we provide but we ask for your patience and understanding during this very busy time.

Both sites will maintain their phone numbers during this time and patients will be notified once the practice operates one number.
Patients that have been registered under Allport Surgery will need to use the PATCHS link on The Sunlight Group Practice website rather than the one used previously.

You can now book your flu vaccine at the surgery if you:
>Are aged over 65
>Are in a clinical risk group
>Are pregnant
>Are a carer
>Have a learning disability
>Live with someone who is immunosuppressed

Call the surgery on 0151 328 5630 to book in. We will be able to offer your Covid Autumn Booster vaccine when you come in for your flu jab appointment.

NHS England, in association with the Stroke Association launches the Act F.A.S.T. stroke campaign this week. This campaign highlights that a stroke is a medical emergency and urges the public to call 999 immediately if they notice any one of the signs of a stroke in themselves or others.
The Act F.A.S.T. (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) acronym provides a memorable way of identifying the most common signs of a stroke and emphasises the importance of acting quickly by calling 999.
