Our 500 Club is growing! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ Congratulations to this elite clubโ€™s newest member, John AKA Quigs .74 ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅ‚

Thereโ€™s no question that this guy has worked hard in every one of those 500 classes over the nearly three years since he has been training with us ๐Ÿ˜…

And he has been putting his fitness to the test in various running, CrossFit and HYROX events along the way too ๐Ÿ’ช

We asked him for a few words about his health and fitness journey and this is what he had to say:

โ€œI joined PentaLife with the intention of exercising and losing a bit of weight. I had previously suffered with back problems, leading to an operation, and when I exercised before it normally ended up with a bit of a relapse.

This time for some reason it was different. I stuck to my 13 training sessions a month (sometimes more) and did a nutrition challenge, losing 5kg. Slowly, over the next 2.5 years, I lost more weight and am now much more aware of what I eat and also how I exercise. I also gained a lot of friends along the way.

I enjoy the workouts at PentaLife. I like pushing myself (and sometimes others!) and I enjoy the friendly banter with the rest of the class. I can freely admit that I sometimes get FOMO when I see a workout that I can't attend, and a post-gym cafe visit seems to set me up for the weekend every Saturday morning.

This all goes to show that PentaLife is more then just another CrossFit gym; it is built up of a community of like-minded people who want to exercise and get fit and have fun along the way. The fact that I am still here, three years later, is as much about the people I work out with as it is about the workout itself.

Not only has she been working hard in the gym coaching classes, personal training sessions and looking after some of our new starters in their KickStart sessions, she has also been working super hard on her own fitness and nutrition ๐Ÿ˜…
