💝Feeling the love today! And a little nostalgic...
This was the first full wig I ever made start to finish!
I finished my wig making course in 2020, with passion and excitement in my bones!
With my lace base made, and a small section of hair added, I thought how hard can it be?
Well, let me tell you, it took me a year! I started to dread putting an hour or so aside to complete a small section. In the end I had to force myself on evenings and weekends to finish, I was NOT going to go over the year mark!
But, after some time passed and I started to feel more confident as the wig starts showing progress. I started to enjoy the process, learning new techniques as I went. I was DETERMINED!
I had always had a passion for wigs since I was a little girl staying at my aunties house. Her friends had countless wigs for shows and I fell in love as soon as I tried them on.
I felt different, empowered and confident, which was a feeling I hadn't encountered before.
I always knew I wanted to help people feel the way I did when I tried on those wigs!
Years later here I'm trying the old girl on. She still fits like a dream!
And while she is on I feel a great sense of gratitude and love. Very fitting for February 14th!
So on don't forget what empowers you! Keep moving, keep taking a step forward one day at a time, no matter how fed up you feel. You are powerful and you are brave xx
P.s Have a laugh on me as Shania Twain🤣
