Right at Home Mid Hampshire

Right at Home Mid Hampshire We are a home care provider for the elderly and adults with physical and learning disabilities Our CareGivers:
Our CareGivers want more than a job.

Our Ethos:
Our Clients receive their care the way they want, at a time when they want to have it delivered. They are involved in all decision-making, including agreement of their personalised care plan. We know that emotional and moral support for our Clients and their family can be just as important as our specialist care knowledge, so it is ingrained in the support we provide and we always keep in close contact with concerned family and friends. We also understand that good day-to-day communication is vital to give families and loved ones peace of mind, which is why all daily records and communication sheets are kept accessible in the Clients’ home and any concerns can be easily addressed through a call to the office. They want to make a difference in the lives of those in their care. To ensure only the best CareGivers join us, we have a rigorous selection process in place that includes personal interviews, competency testing, psychometric testing, reference checks and background clearance. We also ask ourselves a simple question – would I trust the CareGiver to look after my own mother in her home? We only recruit if the answer is a definite ‘YES’. Once a CareGiver meets our strict criteria, it’s just the beginning. Each goes through a training and orientation process that guides them through our Right at Home values and standards, going above and beyond the national legal requirements. They are given training on issues that help them develop as better overall CareGivers, as well as training on dealing with very specific situations they may come across in their role.

Quality care is often found in the small moments that make life feel easier.

It might be a Carer who helps you steady yourself as you step into the garden so you can check on the roses you planted years ago.

It could be someone preparing breakfast just the way you like it because eating well helps you feel ready for the day.

It may be support with washing and dressing after a hospital stay, offered at a pace that helps you feel safe and capable again.

For some, quality care is a reassuring voice during chemotherapy side effects or help managing medication so you feel less anxious.

For families, it might be live-in care that allows their loved one to stay in their favourite armchair near the window, with someone nearby who understands their mood and knows when to offer help.

At Right at Home, quality care is shaped around you. We take time to understand what matters, whether that is sharing memories over a cup of tea, keeping to routines that bring structure, or offering skilled support that brings comfort and confidence.

Today, we celebrate love that shows up in everyday moments, a reassuring hand, a kind word, a familiar smile.

For many of the people we support, love looks like quiet companionship, sharing stories from the past with one another, or someone who listens and understands.

At Right at Home, we feel privileged to be part of those moments. Our Carers help Clients stay connected to the relationships and memories that matter, offering care that supports comfort and belonging.

However you spend today, we hope it brings warmth and a sense of being valued.

💛 From all of us at Right at Home, Happy Valentine’s Day.

We’re so grateful to families who take the time to share their experience.

“Right at Home have given my father the most amazing care. They have bent over backwards to accommodate his needs. The staff are lovely and the care team are brilliant.

They’ve supported us with doctor and hospital appointments, and nothing is too much trouble. Taking my dad out for walks in Eastleigh has also helped him stay active.”

It’s not just about care at home – it’s about helping Clients stay connected to the places and routines that matter to them, with a team families can truly rely on.

Imagine waking up knowing someone is already nearby to help you start the day.

Perhaps you enjoy breakfast at the same table each morning, listening to your favourite station on the radio.
Maybe you feel more settled because there is someone who knows when you prefer conversation and when you need calm.

Live-in care offers that kind of steady presence. A Carer who understands your routines and the things that matter most to you. Someone who supports you with confidence while helping your home remain the place where you feel yourself.

For many people, this brings reassurance that life can continue with familiar comforts and a trusted person who adapts to their needs.

If you are considering live-in care, we are here to help you stay where you feel at ease and supported to live well.
