We have been busy making Easter bonnets and parading them round for everyone to see. We visited Alston House Care Home, where they gave us 10 Easter eggs for the best bonnets, and Kelly wrote us a great story. We taught the residents our 'spring chicken' song, which we hope they enjoyed. Thank you for having us.

The children have been busy colouring in lots of pretty Easter pictures for Howden Insurance. We visited them today, and they loved our masterpieces. They are going to display them in the window, so please wander down and have a look at them all.

Howden Insurance also kindly brought us all a little chocolate treat for all our hard work.

It is great to work alongside others in the community. Thank you for the opportunity and for supporting us.

What a day, we are all exhausted from celebrating world book day. All the staff came dressed as crayons from the book ‘The day the crayons went back to school’.

We loved seeing everyone’s costumes and PJs and all their stories from home. We have read so many stories today and created lots of masterpieces. We even made book marks and played in story themed sensory trays.

Don’t forget to use your book vouchers and keep reading at home.

Yesterday Everest decided to have a go at mark making on our colouring wall, he really tried to stay in the lines.

Today Everest felt adventurous and tried to flip round the art drying line. I think he thought it as monkey bars.

The children are still enjoying the books from the calendar.

Today Everest was wearing a new Santa suit and was up in the tree with our 🦧 orangutan. I think he missed us over the weekend.

The children had 3 stories to read from our calendar today.
