This week we’ve been visited by our two favourite ladies, it takes 2!
The ladies put on a great interactive performance for our residents, which always makes them feel part of the performance.
Our residents sang an old classic, ‘over the rainbow’ by Judy Garland. They were shown how to sing this in British sign language, and the residents really enjoyed learning something new.🎶

All smiles for games day! 🎲😁
We love a games day at April park!
The residents have had so much fun playing a range of different games, some with a more modern twist.
Of course we played the old classics, but we also introduced a variety new games which our residents absolutely loved, with the alphabet game being their favourite.👏

“Top of the morning to ye”🍀🇮🇪

We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day today.
Residents and their family members gathered for an Irish themed day.
We’ve enjoyed Irish cream coffees, traditional Irish music, dancing and Irish puzzles.
Residents also had an Irish themed option on the menu today, with the chef serving Irish stew, colcannon mash and buttered cabbage, followed by a gorgeous Irish apple cake.
