Contrary to some self-help book you’ve read, you don’t have to wake at 5 a.m and meditate for an hour to feel calm & restored
Infact if you’ve tried that and it’s made you feel more exhausted than ever, please know it’s not because your lazy or inconsistent
It’s actually because it’s not how ‘YOUR BODY’ wants you to do things
NEWSFLASH… Just because it works for her doesn’t mean it will work for you
You are a completely unique human being
Think about it: you’re actually a night owl and she’s a morning kinda of girl, or maybe your kids have had you up 3 times in the night and she doesn’t have any kids, or she’s self-employed and is more flexible than your 10
hour day plus a commute!
Maybe you’re better in the evenings or lunchtime
Maybe you’re meditation is going for a walk or dancing round the kitchen to your favourite tunes rather than sitting trying to say ‘OM’ for an hour
IT DOESN’T MAKE YOU WRONG, it just makes you, YOU
So, if you’ve followed the latest you-tube guru or bought another online DIY wellness course and don’t actually feel better for it, THEN know you’re body is trying to tell you something
