Catch From Zero 2 Hero 2 at Sheldon Countryside Festival next week. We will be running a free smoothie making session and showcasing what our project is all about to the local community.

Sheldon Countryside Festival is a free event for the entire family with lots going on! It is a fantastic annual event for the community so why not come down!

Looks like we will have some fantastic weather this weekend for getting outdoors!

The Met Office has said it will feel warmer this weekend as spring finally gets underway. Highs of 17°C are expected thanks to the arrival of a tropical maritime air mass.

The Met Office, said: "It's all to do with the type of air mass. A tropical maritime air mass will make it feel warmer.

This air mass originates from the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean between the Azores and Bermuda.

This is a mild air stream and during the winter months it can raise the air temperature several degrees above the average."

From Zero 2 Hero ‘2’ is able to offer Cycling to groups of Young People aged 5 - 18 in Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull.

Cycling, whether it’s a day to day activity, or an occasional adventure, is a great way to help keep you and the rest of the family healthy. Getting on our bikes more often can help us on the way to making the small changes that can bring short and long term benefits to your health.

A typical cycling session will consist of:
Part 1 - In the morning learn basic bike handling and control while being assessed on riding ability by the instructor.
Part 2 - Then in the afternoon the group will be ready to take on
local routes in Sandwell Valley Country Park, tailored to the groups ability.
