Margaret McGarry Physiotherapist

Margaret McGarry is a highly experienced physiotherapist who has worked in the NHS for over 39 years, many of which she has spent as a senior clinician. She has also worked in numerous private physiotherapy settings. She is dedicated, caring and enthusiastic, aspiring to treat not just the symptoms and restoring function, but to identify causative factors contributing to the current problem and helping to prevent recurrence. Margaret is Registered with The Health professions Council (HPC) and is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP). She has specialised in treating musculo-skeletal problems and related orthopaedic, trauma and sports injuries. She has post graduate qualifications in manipulative techniques, orthopaedic medicine and injection therapy and an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy. She is a quallified yoga teacher YMCA /OM people and APPI pilates trained teacher. Other approaches are integrated into care packages such as acupuncture, clinical pilates, therapeutic exercises, soft tissue massage and mobilisation. As part of an interest in wellbeing and the healthy mind/body link, Margaret is planning to provide treatment to relieve the symptoms of the stresses of a busy life. Treatment options include acupuncture, hypnosis, soft tissue release and exercises.
