😴 Struggling with sleep? You’re not alone.

Sleep and mental health are closely connected, but knowing how to improve sleep can feel overwhelming. The good news? Even small, manageable changes can make a real difference.

From February, Jami’s occupational therapists are running a 5-session online sleep group, offering evidence-based guidance, practical ideas, and a supportive space to share experiences.

You’ll learn a bit about sleep science and psychology — and pick up tools to help you rest better.

🗓 Mondays at 3pm (online via Teams):

🕯️ Jami brings mental health to the table for its 10th Jami Mental Health Shabbat.

On 23–24 January, our community came together for the 10th Jami Mental Health Shabbat, an annual moment on Parashat Bo that shines a light on mental illness, stigma and the importance of open conversation.

From synagogues and schools to university J‑Socs, families and individuals — including people supported by Jami and Jewish Care — so many took part in marking this meaningful milestone.

It’s powerful to see our community unite to break the silence and bring mental health to the table.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Jami Mental Health Shabbat.

We are the Mental Health service for our community.

For 30 years Jami has provided practical and emotional support for the mental health of the Jewish community. Jami’s vision is a Jewish community which accepts, acknowledges and understands mental illness. A community which is resilient and has the capacity and capability to be healthy. A community in which symptoms of mental illness are as recognisable as a heart attack and trigger an equally appropriate First Aid response. A community in which Parity of Esteem is a reality and an environment which helps, not hinders recovery.

We work with individuals, communities and organisations to help prevent mental illness from developing, improve early intervention and promote wellbeing.

We understand that everyone’s experience of mental illness is different. We provide practical and emotional support for everyone affected by a mental health problem, the person with the diagnosis, friend, relative or employer. This includes:

Supporting around 1,300 people at any one time and reaching thousands more through our community education
