Introducing Caring with Confidence

At Dignity Funerals, we believe that care doesn’t end with a goodbye - it begins with how we support those who care every day.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Hospice UK to launch Caring with Confidence: a CPD-accredited training programme designed to empower nursing home staff with the tools, insight and emotional resilience needed to support grieving families and residents, and for themselves.

Through free, locally delivered training sessions, we’re helping care professionals feel confident, informed and supported - because no one should feel alone after a death, especially those who care for others.

Peacefully passed away at the Western General Hospital on, April 5th 2026 aged 82.
Cherished Mother to Kevin, Oliver, Helen and Mary.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 28th April at St Margarets Catholic Church in South Queensferry at 10AM. Followed by a burial at South Queensferry Cemetery at 11:30AM to which all are welcome.
Catherine will be received into church on Monday 27th April at 6PM

Peacefully passed away on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary aged 84. Adored Mother to Paul, Jim and Tommy. Cherished Grandmother to Connor, Lucy, Aidan, Jenna and Riley. A Funeral service will take place on Tuesday 21st April at South Queensferry Parish Church at 11am followed by an Interment at South Queensferry Cemetery at 12PM to which all are welcome.
