Evening all! How are your resolutions holding up? 😇

Christmas Day!
A few photos from a lovely day at Braeburn!
It's important to enjoy the day as well as take pictures but Santa paid a visit and so did his elves - beautifully dressed.
Thank you to James and Midhu for an excellent dinner ! And thank you to all who visited.
We hope you all had a lovely day too.

Santa's helpers !
We will share pictures of our residents with Santa tomorrow but we wanted to say thank you so much to all who helped to make Christmas Day 2025 at Braeburn very special.
Our staff all looked very festive and supported our residents to put their sparkle on too.. 🌟
The table was beautifully decorated and particular thanks go to the kitchen team who worked so hard to deliver a splendid feast.

Grazia won the raffle and the children were charming 🎄
We had a lovely afternoon with the children of Arbor Green nursery school making Christmas cards together. Please come and see us again soon.
Braeburn is all ready for tomorrow & we hope n you are too. Chef James has prepared a feast and we are hopeful of a special visitor. Will post a picture if he arrives!

Heroes for our Heroes 💖🎅
Christmas is a time to thank those who have supported us so it's our pleasure to say thank you to the staff of Braeburn.
From care staff to house- keeping, the kitchen and maintenance teams, wellbeing staff and our administrators- you are all fab. Thank you for all that you do to improve the lives of our residents.
And a very Happy Christmas to you all!

We held our Carol Service yesterday, which is an important event in rhe Braeburn calendar. We are grateful to our ministers Aileen and Joe who conducted a beautiful service for residents, relatives and staff and lit candles of hope for us all.
Thank you also to Caroline and Marjorie for readings and Ann for playing the piano so that we could all sing lovely carols together in the spirit of Christmas.
We shared tea and cake afterwards to complete a very special afternoon.

The Christmas festivities started with an invitation to the lights ceremony at Arbor Green nursery - our lovely neighbours.
We had a fab time toasting marshmallows, enjoying the lights and of course Santa was in attendance 🎅

December is a very busy birthday month here at Braeburn.
Happy Birthday to Willow for Tuesday, Rosemary today and Naomi for tomorrow.
We wish you all many happy returns and lots of cake! 🎂 🥳💐
We also combined Rosemary's birthday with Christmas Jumper Day for some ! 🤶🤶

A very very Happy Birthday to Susan for yesterday 🎂🎁 🎉. She had a lovely day with visitors and flowers and an amazing cake.
Thank you to our staff team who prepared an elegant lunch for Susan and her visitors in our small dining room. And the day finished with a second cake - well deserved at 96!
