With yesterday’s New Moon and it being Chinese New Year, I thought it important to see what advice the cards had for me.

The King of Cups

Start the year by being in touch with your emotions. Whatever may happen, handle it with emotional maturity. Even if a situation is draining, be compassionate, understanding and try to approach it with a loving heart. Be generous, patient and nurturing with yourself and others.

Don’t get caught up in drama. If someone or something is triggering you, choose tact, diplomacy and emotional intelligence to deal with it.

The King of Cups reminds us that suppressing or controlling emotions is not the way forward. Allow yourself to externalize with confidence and let your emotions flow freely. Find a way to relieve yourself from that burden, choose self-care and self-love.
