During this time we mainly focused on getting her comfortable within the gym, being able to own her space and be confident with setting up equipment. We have also managed to build some good strength in that time

These mistakes are so common when you first come in to the gym. Wanting to rush each rep, rushing the rest - we have all done that in the past but giving yourself and your body enough time to recover is crucial in making sure you’re continuously making progress with your strength.

Stop skipping warm ups 🛑

What is a cut? Why are people on a cut?

A cut is when you’re in a calories deficit ( eating less than your maintenance). My reasoning for this is simply to see what my body can look like if I pay attention to what I eat.

My main priority was to make sure I still eat normally and without limitations ( having my fave snacks 🤭) and after two weeks I can confirm I haven’t missed a single thing!

I am aiming for 1850 kcals a day with 140g of protein and my weight loss has been very steady.

WEEK 1- I lost almost exactly 3kg, which was partially water
WEK 2 - I lost 400g which is very steady.


This post Is to show people that you need to be realistic when it comes to weight loss, som weeks will be easy and some a little harder but it is all a process and you should trust it 🫡

Overall I can see a change with my bloating specifically but also a tiny bit leaner so I’m very happy . If you have any questions about a cut or any tips please DM me 🤝🏽

Motivation is a funny thing ! Everyone things it’s the one thing you need to succeed with any goal but the truth is that we cannot relay on it. Motivation often disappears after a few months and then what?

In order to succeed you need to learn your habits of avoidance and learn how to overcome them! Everyone is so different but I found those help myself and some of my clients

All the things I wish I knew before I started my fitness journey. All of these lessons I had to learn through experiences 🙃

1) Rest is so much more important than most of you think. Yes I get you want to get a lot done in a week but rest/ sleep / recovery is so important for growth and performance. Prioritise it more 😴

2) Food is soooo difficult to get right at the beginning. There’s so many diets and advice online but it is all about balance, having all your favourite things but in moderation, the biggest tip I can give anyone is focus on the protein and water intake.

3) Every one wants biggest glutes/ legs these days and you do need the upper body strength to be able to handle the heavy weights you’ll need for the muscle growth. Do not skip your upper body days 💪🏼

4) No one is watching you in the gym! This one takes a while to realise but it makes such a difference. Everyone in there is so focused on themselves that they don’t have time to look at others. We are all in there to better ourselves so there no judgment

Please learn with my mistakes and save yourself some time
