Depression doesn’t wear one face. In women, it may show up as guilt, anxiety, or tearfulness.

In men, it might look like anger, apathy, or risky behavior. Kids may withdraw or complain of constant aches. Older adults?

They might just seem tired, forgetful, or in pain. Depression isn’t always sadness—it shifts with age, gender, and circumstance.
