It's the start of August and this is your reminder that if you receive your invitation to have your breast screened please attend .

You are 5 times more likely to survive breast cancer if it is caught early.

If you need to change your appointment please call 0131 537 7400

When you get your screening appointment will depend on the GP practice you're registered with. Don't worry if your appointment doesn't arrive as soon as you turn 50. Each GP practice takes part in the screening programme every three years so you may not receive your first invitation until you're nearly 53.
