Kids make great basket holders…jokes!! 😂

Food education should start from an early age…take the kids on your grocery shop and help them make healthy food choices.

Tell the basics of carb 🍞 protein 🍗 fat 🧈

At random point to a food item…let them guess the food group.

❌ Not the girl in the weights area deadlifting crazy weights with sh*t form

❌ And not the girl on the mats banging out a million crunches to get f*cking abs

Please for god sake 😡 don’t do any of the above cause you see another girl doing it 🤦🏼‍♀️

😱 Scary fact....

There is no such thing as a perfect workout plan!!

🧬 Your genetic make up....is what it is!

How much muscle mass you hold is genetic 🧬

How much body fat you hold is genetic 🧬

If your better suited to long distance running or sprints is genetic 🧬

Your bone structure is genetic 🧬

✅ You need to build & structure a plan that works for you...and only you 💃🏼

FYI...hence the word PERSONAL...in personal training 👍🏼

Please for F**K sake 🤬 do not use any of the above 👆🏼

❌These are not good indicators of a good gym session

Try concentrating on simple foundations...

✅ enjoyment of the gym session

✅ feeling stronger

✅ feeling fitter

✅ good lifting form

✅ progressive overload

For most of us we are just getting back into a gym routine...

Be smart 😄

I went back to the gym 🏋🏼‍♀️

Here’s 5 tips for heading back to gym training...

1️⃣ Do your warm up sets, mobilise your working joints and active the working muscles.

2️⃣ Plan your gym workout schedule...
Push, Pull, Legs
Upper body/Lower body
Chest/Back/Shoulders/Legs/Arms&Abs
Full body

3️⃣ Plan adequate rest on your workout schedule

4️⃣ Drop your lifting load by 20-30%

5️⃣ Don’t neglect your cardio now the gyms have opened

Please don’t be an idiot and jump straight in at the deep end...

Leave your ego at the door

Avoid injury

Help newbies

And most importantly....

Enjoy every session & execute every session like it’s your last.
