Join us at Dalmahoy this May 23rd–24th from 11am–2pm for a very special ‘Have a Go’ Golf Weekend in partnership with DR Inclusive Fitness & Wellbeing ⛳✨

This welcoming event is open to anyone with a disability or long-term health condition who would like to experience golf in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Guests will have the opportunity to try the Paragolfer all-terrain wheelchair on our 9-hole pitch & putt course, alongside guidance from PGA coach Ross and the DR Inclusive team.

Whether you’re completely new to golf or looking to return to the game, everyone is welcome to come along, meet others and enjoy a social day at Dalmahoy.

DR Inclusive’s first Golf Event!

We are partnering with Dalmahoy golf and country club and hosting a “have a go” weekend!

This event is open to anyone with a disability or long term health condition that would like to come along and try golf. We will have our paragolfer all terrain wheelchair with us along with Ross, our PGA golf coach.

Dalmahoy have kindly given us access to the 9 hole pitch and putt course and use of the facilities for refreshments.

Everyone is welcome and it will have our usual social feel to it along with some of our regular clients. So if you are new to golf or want to find away back into golf why not come along and have a go!

We do ask that if you do require the paragolfer on either day that you get in contact to book a slot.

We would love to see you there!

On Friday we tried a couple of new poses and played around with adapting them to make them more accessible and realistic for my class.

They might look a little different, but they still delivered the same benefits building strength, improving flexibility and creating space in the body.

Just because it doesn’t look “traditional” doesn’t mean it’s not yoga It’s about how it feels, how it supports your body, and how it meets you where you are.

It’s all about making the practice work for you. 😌

Poses we worked on:
🧘🏼‍♀️ Cat-Cow (Marjaryasana–Bitilasana)
🧘🏼‍♀️ Camel (Ustrasana)
🧘🏼‍♀️ One-Legged Cobra with Strap (Eka Pada Bhujangasana)

Adapted Yoga Class:
Fridays 10:30-11:30am
Tuesdays 6-7pm

One year on….

On Saturday 25th April, myself and David (Chunk) will be climbing the National 3 Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon) in 24hrs for The Golf Trust.

Exactly a year on from the big guy passing and the toughest year mentally of our lives. Myself and David (chunk) want to do this in memory of the big guy and will scatter some of his ashes on each peak.

We will be raising funds for our friends at the golf trust who have an ethos very similar to ours at DR Inclusive Fitness and what better charity to raise funds for in memory of the big guy than a golf one (there aren’t any lager charities 🤣).
