This week marked the end of an era. We held our final class for our Online Yoga Community.

This amazing community, created during the first lockdown, has been a thriving space for movement, breath, and connection for 4.5 years. What a journey we've all been on. And, as my journey continues onto a slightly different path, I feel so utterly grateful, my heart feels so full of all the love, joy, support, fun, and friendship we've experienced together.

I've dug out this old photo, the original photo I used to advertise the classes in March 2020, featuring my beautiful Gemma.

It was a privilege and joy to be a part of our Trauma Informed Immersion teaching team last month.

It was my first time delivering formal training to yoga teachers (usually, I tend to work with third sector staff), and I loved it thanks to Lorraine for her continued support and mentoring.

Sharing and learning from 18 other passionate teachers was very special.

As many of you know, since adopting Sadie this year I've started working with Stronger Together Animal Rescue and we're currently running our 2025 calendar competition. Calling all rescue doggy owners (any rescue, not just STAR) to enter a photo(s) of your precious pup or marvelous moggie to be in with the chance of your furry baby being featured in our calendar. Β£5 a photo, more details on the STAR page.

P.S, yes I have entered wee Sadie (maybe 5 pics?) and darling Gemma :)

We're loving all the cute photos being entered into our calendar competition, some really funny and adorable ones.

Keep sharing your photos of your precious furry rescue friends and we’ll publish the winning entries in our 2025 STAR calendar. Entry is open to all rescues, not just STAR adoptions

There are 12 categories to choose from and the overall winner will be awarded a Β£50 credit to sponsor and name a puppy in the New Year.

Each category winner will feature in our 2025 calendar and be immortalised forever!

Entry is a Β£5 donation per photo with all proceeds going to support the STAR dogs and cats. You can enter as many times as you like and we will also share all entries on our FB group.

Weekend spent supporting the inspiring and knowledgeable delivering day one of the Edinburgh Community Yoga Trauma Informed Training for Yoga Teachers

It was a pleasure to meet so many amazing folks passionate about social justice, health equity, and creating more inclusive, safer yoga spaces.

Followed with Sunday afternoon selfcare... late Summer walks through woodlands with friends, and an evening spent preserving nature's bounty.

I've been very, very quiet here on socials lately, but that's because real life's been pretty full.

Summer was spent settling into my new role at Lauriston Farm, where you'll find me running land based groups and courses, building community relationships, and loving being a part of such awesome workers co-operative.

I've had to say goodbye to a few regular yoga classes, but I've held on to a couple of socially prescribed groups, one corporate, and my weekly Granton community class.

Big love ❀️

Settling into life at Lauriston Farm this summer has been wonderful. This week we were baking bread from wheat grown on the farm, harvested just last month. Milled in Granton Community Gardeners and cooked in our outdoor oven.

I am passionate about the internal health benefits of yoga. My teaching is not centred on the gymnastic, visually aesthetic yoga postures, but rather focuses on the nurturing, energetic, deeper aspects of yoga.

During my classes, I seek to create a space where people from all walks of life, of all shapes and sizes, and of all levels and abilities, are comfortable to connect their mind, body and breath through yoga.
