The Aztec Calendar
Today scientists from different nations have dedicated themselves to the study of this monolith that weights about 25 tons and with a diameter of 3.60 meters. It was found in the main square of Mexico City on December 17, 1760, which was sculpted by the Aztecs. Esoterically, this great work represents the zodiac with the complete history of our galaxy. It is a calendar of great precision and that is the reason for the current interest of science in verifying, based on electronic computers, the infallible predictions that are expressed therein.
In the central circle the solar god Tonatiuh is represented with his radiant yellow hair; an obsidian knife emerges from between his lips, which is the representation of the verb. It is surrounded by four symbols that are the four suns or times that humanity has gone through. The first sun, in which they were devoured by tigers, represents the polar race; the second in which they were converted into monkeys, is the Hyperborean epoch; the one of the birds that belongs to Lemuria; and the symbol that is the same as the fourth epoch that is identified with Atlantis or the story of Noah, and the same Tonatiuh is the fifth sun or A***n epoch that is in agony and whose end is clearly represented by the number 13, in the upper center square.
Two eagle claws support human hearts and a circle of 20 hieroglyphs, which are the days of the month, surround the five suns. The 20 days and the 18 months make a year of 360 days. Then another circle with 52 points that represent the Aztec century and the zodiac is closed with two serpents with flaming feathers.
In the song of the monolith, the heavens are represented with the sign of the planet Venus and the races that will continue: sixth and seventh to conclude with the eighth sun or infinite.
