💛🏉💛 We had a wee Volunteers' day out courtesy of the very generous and thoughtful folk at Edinburgh Trams, thank you so much. As one of their charities they very kindly donated a handful of tickets to the 1872 Derby match at Murrayfield and it was a pleasure to treat some of our exceptional volunteers to an afternoon in the stands. We were supporting both sides so it was a winner winner chicken dinner for us all. 💛🐔💛 Happy New Year everyone. 🎉✨🎉

🎉🍾🙌🎆✨Wonderful wonderful thanks to all the incredible boys of Mount Vernon Golf Club based at Liberton Golf Club for paying for the care on New Year's Day at our Hospice. Their support over the many many years - 17 - has been incredible and to date they have raised the exceptional total of £150,065! We are beyond grateful to the Club members for their support and humbled by all they have done for us.

💛🎄💛Thank you to Howies Restaurants for your incredible generosity which is paying for a day of care at our Edinburgh hospice on this very special day.

Through adding an optional donation to customers’ bills, over ✨£12,200 ✨ was raised over three months. This remarkable contribution is funding Christmas Day, ensuring all our patients and their families can enjoy a festive celebration filled with warmth, comfort and care.

Thank you so much to Howies Restaurants and their customers for helping our patients and their loved ones make special memories. 💛🎄💛

Meet a few of our incredible Marie Curie medical team members, who are swapping scrubs for running shoes by taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to support Marie Curie. 💛

Recently, Libby Ferguson, Medical Director and Debbie Galbraith, Healthcare Assistant at our Glasgow Hospice, went the extra mile by hosting a Christmas bake sale and raffle at the hospice, raising over an incredible £800 to add to their fundraising total!

And the wonderful Amy Borthwick, Clinical Nurse Manager at our Edinburgh Hospice also kick-started her fundraising, by holding collections at her local rugby club raising over £500 with another collection organised at Murrayfield on 27th!

Well done and a huge thank you to the ladies for their incredible support so far 🥳💛

What a fabulous time we had last week at Mortonhall Garden Centre's Santa Paws evening; thank you so much to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend a few hours with us all, and to all the staff at Klondyke too. It was a busy ol' eve with a queue of gorgeous pooches all waiting for their Christmas pic. And..........we were delighted to see that Moss the tortoise delayed his winter slumber to come and say hello. Adorable wee fella.

Here's a big Ho Ho Ho to you all for helping raise over £400 on the night; you're all super stars. Have a wonderful festive time four and twa leggies 🙌🐾🐢🎅✨

🎄✨🎅Last week we were delighted to welcome a couple of Santa's little helpers to our Wellbeing Centre who did a wonderful job in decorating our Christmas Tree.

Catherine and Irene are regulars to the many activities and groups we run here for our patients at the Hospice including photography, coffee mornings, arts and crafts, memory boxes and more.

It was a truly jolly morning and we are now in full festive mode, thank you ladies 💛🎄🎄
