🍂 Come Dine With Us – Autumn Menu Tasting at Forthland Lodge! 🍽️

This week at Forthland Lodge, our residents were treated to a delicious Come Dine With Me-style event with our talented chef! 👨🍳✨

As we welcome the new season, our chef prepared tasty samples from our upcoming Autumn Menu, giving residents the chance to try a variety of warming, seasonal dishes – and cast their votes for their favourites! 🗳️🍁

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, lively discussion, and of course, some truly mouth-watering food. Thank you to everyone who took part – and especially to our chef for making it such a fun and flavourful experience! 💛

🧼✨ Housekeeping Awareness Day at Forthland Lodge 🌸

We put the spotlight on our incredible Housekeeping Team at Forthland Lodge!

As part of Housekeeping Awareness Day, we took a moment to show just how much we appreciate the hard work, care, and dedication this team puts in every single day to keep our home clean, safe, and welcoming for all. 💐💪

There were smiles all round as they received well-deserved praise, beautiful flowers, and some sweet treats (chocolate, of course!) to say thank you for everything they do.

A sparkling clean home wouldn’t be possible without this amazing team. Your dedication and care make all the difference – thank you for everything you do!

Wonderful Weirdo Day at Forthland Lodge! 🎨🧠

We embraced the quirky, the creative, and the downright wacky with our Wonderful Weirdo Day! Residents had a blast making their own wild and whimsical characters by collaging faces, mixing features, and drawing some fantastically strange creations.

Laughter filled the room as everyone let their imaginations run wild – we saw sideways smiles, upside-down eyes, and some truly unique personalities come to life on paper! 🖍️

We love celebrating creativity in all its forms, and today reminded us that it's way more fun when things get a little weird!

🌸 Flower Arranging Fun at Forthland Lodge! 🌸

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning of creativity and colour as they took part in a flower arranging activity. With a beautiful selection of fresh blooms, everyone got the chance to create their own stunning floral displays – and the results were absolutely lovely!

Activities like this not only brighten up our home, but also bring smiles, spark conversation, and offer a gentle way to express creativity. 💐

A big thank you to all our residents who took part – your arrangements are now proudly on display around the home!

🚢 Setting Sail for Smiles at Ratho Canal! 🚢

What a fantastic day out we had with our wonderful residents from Forthland Lodge, cruising the calm waters of the Union Canal thanks to the incredible team at Seagull Trust Cruises! 🌿✨

From the moment we stepped aboard, the atmosphere was full of excitement and curiosity. The gentle cruise gave everyone a chance to unwind, chat, and soak in the stunning scenery — with more than a few laughs along the way!

A massive thank you goes out to the amazing volunteers who welcomed us with open arms and helped make the day so memorable. Your generosity, warmth, and good humour truly made all the difference. ❤️

These are the moments that stay with us — full of connection, nature, and pure enjoyment. Here’s to many more adventures like this one!

🎨 Clay Sculpting Fun at Forthland Lodge! 👐

Today we embraced the mess and had an absolute blast with a hands-on clay sculpting session! There was plenty of laughter (and a fair bit of clay everywhere) as our residents shaped, squished, and sculpted to their hearts’ content.

From simple shapes to thoughtful little creations, everyone brought their own unique touch to the table — and the joy was in the doing! It's these moments of fun and connection that make days like this so special.

🏴 Highland Games Fun at Forthland Lodge! 🏴

The day was full of laughter, music, and a wee bit of friendly competition as our residents took part in our very own Highland Games! 🎉

From toe-tapping traditional Scottish tunes to a spirited round of caber tossing (with a safely crafted cardboard caber!), everyone got into the Highland spirit. There were smiles all around, and the sense of camaraderie was as strong as ever.

A huge thank you to our amazing residents for their energy and enthusiasm – and to our team for helping bring a bit of Scottish tradition to life right here in the home. 💙

🌳🎨 A Colourful Day at the Care Home! 🎨🌳

We recently hosted a lovely creative activity for our residents, where we explored the beauty of trees through the seasons — using nothing but dots!

From spring blossoms to winter snow, each resident created their own unique dotted masterpiece, capturing the changing colours and moods of nature. It was a relaxing, joyful experience filled with laughter, conversation, and lots of artistic flair.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part — your creativity truly brightened the day! 💚

🍋 When Life Gives You Lemons... We Make Lemonade! 🍋

We had a zesty time at Forthland Lodge this week with our refreshing Lemonade Making Event! Residents rolled up their sleeves, got stuck into slicing, squeezing, mixing—and of course, tasting—our homemade lemonade 🍹💛

The room was filled with laughter, citrusy scents, and lots of happy chatter as everyone shared memories of summer days and family recipes. It was a beautiful way to stay cool and connected! 🥰

🍐 Look What’s Growing in Our Garden! 🌿

We’re thrilled to share that our garden at Forthland Lodge has produced a beautiful surprise — pears! 🌳✨

Watching them grow and ripen has brought joy to both our residents and staff, creating a beautiful sense of connection to nature.

There’s something truly special about witnessing the results of our care — quite literally — blossoming in our own backyard.
